Momentum and Newness.

Inpsired by voice notes with my beautiful friend from Third Space.

As human beings we are meant to move.

Move our bodies.

Move our minds.

Move in life and participate in life.

When we stay stagnant in any way, shape or form, we become stuck.

When we sit ruminating over the same thing over and over again, trying so hard to find an answer about what we should do, we never get anywhere… rather we just spiral deeper and deeper into the mind, it gets heavier and heavier, the thoughts keep looping, the weight builds, and no answers appear.

When we stop experiencing newness, when we are stuck in the same routines and rhythms doing the same thing day in and day out, we stagnate.

We feel heavy, flat, a quiet sense of hopelessness creeping in.

There is no real momentum, no aliveness, just more of the same.

But when we participate in life, when we do something new, go somewhere different, move our bodies with exercise, have a conversation we wouldn't normally have, try something we have never tried before or challenge our own comfortzone in some way….something shifts.

Our bodies, minds and intuition comes back online because we are giving it something to respond to. Mometum start to build within the body.

New experiences bring new parts of ourselves forward.

We discover things about who we are that we never would have found sitting still.

The more you move and participate in life, the more you give yourself and your intuition the opportunity to respond, to guide, to show you what is actually meant for you.

Movement is not just physical. It is breaking the loop and it is giving life a chance to surprise you.

So if things have been feeling heavy or stagnant lately, if you feel stuck in your head with no way out, maybe the answer is not to think harder.

Maybe the answer is to move 🫶🏼✨

What is one move you could make, my love?

Big love,
Nic xx
